The Bay County Veteran Service Office assists veterans, their surviving spouse or children with determining eligibility and applying for Department of Veterans Affairs benefits. These benefits may include: service connected disability, non-service connected pensions, burial benefits, VA healthcare enrollment, certificate of eligibility for VA home loans, prepare property tax exemption letters, income verification letters for various agencies to assist veterans, VA vocational rehabilitation, education, benefits and determining eligibility for state benefits.
The Bay County Veteran Service Officers have been trained and certified by the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs. You will find that our friendly staff is fully qualified to assist you and your family with any benefits that you may be entitled to receive. If you have questions regarding your eligibility for benefits, or require assistance with completing any necessary forms, please contact the office at the address or number listed on the Veterans Services home page. In the best interest of our clients; the office works on an appointment based system. We do recommend that you call the office and schedule an appointment and this will allow us to provide you with more timely service. Walk-ins are welcome; however appointments have priority.
