Tommy Hamm represents Bay County Board of County Commissioners, District 1. Elected in November 2016, Commissioner Hamm is a Bay County native born in 1964. He graduated from A Crawford Mosley High School in 1982. He went on to attend Gulf Coast State College and graduate with a Bachelors in Economics from Florida State University in 1986.
Commissioner Hamm is a licensed contractor and has owned and operated his construction company since 2004.
Commissioner Hamm has served as a board member of the Childrens Advocacy Center for 3 years. He also serves on the board of the ASAP Capital Campaign. He previously served on the Bay Soil and Water District for 10 years.
Commissioner Hamm and his wife, Jamie, have twin toddlers. He also has two adult children and two grandchildren. Commissioner Hamm enjoys family time, sports and outdoor activities.
